Jim & Amanda - Sweet Downtown Jackson Wedding

Jim & Amanda's big day started off with Amanda and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done at Euphoria downtown. Tricia did a fabulous job on these ladies! They all looked stunning. I joined them later when Amanda was finishing up, and she was running way ahead of schedule (awesome!)

Amanda's mom was there with the girls getting ready. She kept us laughing! This was a really fun group to work with.

After Tricia did some touchups, we headed to the venue, The Aeneas Building.

They got Amanda into her beautiful lace-sleeved gown, and we were ready for the first look.

We took photos around the courtyard. We didn't have much time because it kept sprinkling on and off, but I feel like there is great variety even in that little courtyard!

Amanda took a moment with her dad.

The stunning and elegant bouquets were from J. Kent Freeman

We took most of the portraits before the wedding. We just saved the extended family for after. I loved having everything done because the threat of rain just kept getting worse. I was wishing the sun would come out during the ceremony to stream through the big windows, but it actually got more cloudy (thanks for nothing, mother nature). The chandeliers made for a lovely, warm and intimate setting for the ceremony though!

They're married!

Since the venue was being flipped for the reception, we headed outside to do the last of the family photos. It was sprinkling again, but we managed to get everything done in just a few minutes! And with that taken care of, it was time to eat and DANCE.

I absolutely love their glow clappers for the exit. So much fun and color! It was a big hit with the kiddos.

Jim & Amanda are the kind of people you just want to be around. They are both constantly smiling, and they have so much fun with each other. I loved getting to follow them around all day and document this perfect day for them.
