Lauren & Ford - Elegant Southern Summer Wedding in Brownsville, TN

A little over a week ago, Lauren and Ford tied the knot at the absolutely gorgeous First United Methodist Church in Brownsville, Tennessee. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day!

I arrived while the girls were getting ready at the reception location, Eader House.

While the girls finished up makeup, I took some detail shots around the venue.

That dress! Just wait...it looks good on the hanger, but it's even better when Lauren is wearing it. She rocked it!

Lauren had a family friend, Chase Thomas, do her hair. Chase travels all over the world with his work, and he was so much fun to talk to! He also did a phenomenal job on Lauren's hair.

We headed to the church for everyone to get their dresses on and take pictures.

Lauren didn't want anyone seeing her before the ceremony other than the girls in the wedding party and her mom, so we did their pictures first before anyone else got to the church. We just took pictures inside so we didn't risk anyone seeing her.

Isn't she perfect?!

Once the guys got there, we took pictures of them as well.

Checking out the bride and groom's transportation.

Soon it was time for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests filed out and headed to the Eader House for the reception, and we took a few photos at the church. There wasn't any time or light left to take more at the reception, but I love the ones we got outside with the car.

A few of these are from my second shooter, Sue White. She always does an awesome job with the portraits! I love having her shoot with me.

The cakes were by J.C. Cakes in Humboldt.

The grounds of the Eader House were perfect for this wedding. The huge Magnolias are just so beautiful and quintessentially Southern.

After the dances, I was able to get a couple of shots of them in front of the house, then some of Lauren on the steps.

We went back out for more dancing, toasts and the bouquet/garter toss

No one got seriously injured from this toss, so it's ok to laugh :D

After lots of dancing and mingling, it was time for their exit. It was confetti, which was actually kind of fun in the dark!

Congratulations Lauren and Ford! I hope you had a restful and fun honeymoon and are enjoying marriage so far.
