James & Brittany's Warm Fall Cogan's Farm Wedding

A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of two friends of mine. Rhett is good friends with James, and he was also a groomsman in the wedding, so it was really fun to be there to photograph the day! James and Brittany have been engaged for a while, over two years if I'm not mistaken. Brittany has been in PT school, and now that she's graduated, it was finally time to tie the knot! I know they were both so ready, and it turned out to be a wonderful wedding day. Here are some of my favorite shots...

When I got there, Brittany was already done with hair and makeup. She has very, very curly and thick hair, so they made sure to leave plenty of time to get it how they wanted it. This was definitely wise! Even though I didn't get shots of her hair and makeup, I got some of her getting touched-up and then getting in her dress.

Once the guys arrived, I got some pictures of them getting ready. Just a few since guys take about 2 minutes to get ready...

My handsome husband :)

Once the guys and girls were all ready, we went ahead and did the first look and almost all of the portraits. It was great to have so much time to get everything done!

Chad being Chad.

I love Cogan's Farm, partially because their dogs are always out wandering around. They're all so sweet!

Time flew by and it was time for the ceremony out by the pond.

Mr. and Mrs. Jones! So happy for them.

Just a few happy tears after the wedding.

James was trying to get used to having a ring on. We went back out to the pond and got a few more pictures, but since we had most everything done, that only took a minute. I'm glad they were up for doing some then because the light was great!

After that, it was time to party! There was delicious food from West TN Smokers, and lots of dancing. It was a lot of fun!

Bless her. No idea why she was upset, but she was adorable!

This is who I'm married to...and I love him He's just as goofy as I am!

It was such a wonderful day! I had the stomach virus the day before this, so I was pretty beat by the time I went home, but I still enjoyed being there for such a special day. I'm so thankful to have been a part of it!
