Addy and Monty's wedding last weekend was held at one of my favorite venues in West Tennessee. I love the Opera House, and they have just added a courtyard that makes that place even more wonderful! I was so excited to shoot the Byars wedding there. I arrived around 11 while Addy was getting her hair done. I got lots of detail shots of all the vintage touches around the venue.
The backdrop they set up for the ceremony was beautiful. They incorporated the ferns really well and helped provide a little separation from the bright window.
Gina Marie Hair and Makeup finished up the prep and Addy got into her beautiful gown. Then it was time for the first look!
They are too sweet! We took some portraits of the two of them. At this point we had tons of time to get all the photos done, and we still ended up having like an hour and a half of downtime.
Addy's mom was downstairs getting her hair done, so we stopped to see her during the portraits. Her reaction to seeing Addy in her gown was perfect.
We took some time to do pictures of the bridal party and family next.
Of course we had to get a shot of them in the photo booth area.
Like I said, we had some downtime, then it was ceremony time!
They're married! The ceremony was super quick and adorable. That's Addy's mom and dad above. They are such a fun couple too. Her dad had me laughing all day! After the ceremony they greeted guests as they came downstairs for the reception. The reception was pretty low-key. There was some dancing and the Kimberlie Helton Band played a couple of sets. They also had a bar and a selfie photo booth. It was a perfect summer reception!
We snagged this shot in the new courtyard. Addy says being dipped is traumatizing, but she was a champ. haha!
I couldn't be more thrilled that these two chose me to document their wedding day. I had such a great time with them and their loved ones. Everything was beautiful, and their day couldn't have gone more perfectly.
