Catunya & Lamonte - 25 Year Vow Renewal at the Aeneas Building, Jackson Tennessee

At the beginning of April, I had the pleasure of photographing a vow renewal at Unity Temple Church in Jackson, with a reception following at the newly painted Aeneas Building. Catunya and Lamonte celebrated 25 years with a lovely ceremony and reception with their friends and family!

I arrived at the church and got a few shots of the ladies getting ready.

Everyone headed to the Aeneas Building to get dressed for photos.

I started by taking photos of Catunya, then some with her bridesmaids and family.

The girls headed back to the church and I took some photos of Lamonte and his guys.

As you can see, Lamonte was in the Navy, and he wore his dress whites. After the guys left, I got some detail photos around the venue. Southern Sparkle Wedding and Event Planning did a fantastic job!

Back at the church, I got ready for the ceremony! The main event!

Lamonte had me tearing up. I hope my husband still feels this way about me in 25 years. These two are very blessed to have each other!

After the ceremony, we took some pictures of the bridal party, the family and then the happy couple together.

I was only at the reception for a couple of hours, but I got shots of some toasts, a little dancing and a fun cake cutting!

Lamonte surprised his bride with a trip. Their children helped with the big reveal!

It was a great day, and I wish them another 25+ years of happiness together!

Rachel & Austin's Spring Barn at Snider Farms Rustic Wedding

A little over a week ago, Rachel & Austin tied the knot at the beautiful Snider Farms in Denmark, Tennessee. The day could not have been more perfect! The temperature was a little cool, but the reception was inside, so it really didn't matter at all. I appreciated that all the outdoor photos were comfortable to shoot! I'll be missing that 50 degree weather come June. Krisy with Southern Sparkle did the planning, and her team always does an amazing job. I loved having her there to keep everything running smoothly. Rachel & Austin were totally chill all day and clearly had a wonderful time celebrating with their friends and family. They are so laid back and fun to be around that I felt like I was just hanging out with friends all day. Here are some of my favorite shots that tell their wedding day story...

I started out taking some pictures of Rachel getting her makeup done, then I walked around and got some detail shots around the venue. Rachel had nine bridesmaids, so the "getting ready" room was full, but it was a lot of fun. Everyone was so friendly and relaxed. I know it's hard to get that many people ready for a wedding, but they were all really efficient!

Once the guys got there, I got a couple of shots of them before I sent Austin out for his first look with Rachel. It was so sweet!

After their first look, we took several portraits around the barn area. We didn't have to go very far, because there are lots of nice places there. I love the water, but it was a bit bright over there. We decided to save some water-side shots for after the ceremony. Instead we used the pretty tulips and the ceremony area.

After the first look we had a little time before bridal party photos. I got some shots of the gorgeous cakes! Austin's golf cake turned out great.

We did some bridal party photos and most of the family photos before the ceremony. The kids were hilarious. We never did get a regular-looking shot, but I kind of enjoy the silly ones. After that, it was time to hide until the ceremony! Guests were already starting to come in.

It was such a wonderful ceremony! After that we had a couple more family pictures, and they let me get a few more of them together.

Isn't she gorgeous?! Inside and out.

They had the Magi Band for the reception and it was a fun night. They had so much fun dancing and celebrating together! I really had a wonderful time with them, and I wish them all the best.
