Bethany and Will - Fall Wedding in Tennessee, Blessing Barn

Bethany & Will's wedding took place mid-November at the secluded Blessing Barn. It was a surprisingly warm day, just a little cloudy. Back when we did Bethany's Bridal portraits at the venue, it was raining, so I was just excited to be able to take pictures around the outside for the actual wedding day!

I arrived and got some photos of the ladies getting ready. Bethany had one bridesmaid, but some other family members were getting ready there as well. It was all very laid back, just like Bethany! She is definitely one of my most chill brides ever.

I also took some time to get some detail photos around the venue.

Soon it was time for Bethany to get in her dress! Will arrived ready to go, so once she was dressed, we did a first look with her dad, then with Will and went straight into taking family photos and portraits. Everything moved pretty quickly with this group once we got going.

As you can tell, the wind was pretty brutal! Bethany's hair held up really well, thankfully.

Someone mentioned getting a picture on the swing, so we headed over there. Unfortunately the swing had other plans! Will was a good sport. He and Bethany (and everyone watching...) had a good laugh.

Pretty sure Will fell asleep while they waited for the reception to be set up. I don't blame him, weddings are exhausting!

And off they went!! Bethany is kind of like me, she didn't want any of the traditional reception events like cake cutting or first dance, so everyone just mingled, ate and enjoyed some games outside. It was a really nice, laid-back evening! The sparkler exit was the perfect cap to the night.

Special thanks to my friend and fellow photographer Cari Griffith for second shooting the ceremony with me! I am so grateful for her willingness to be my second. Weddings are always more fun with her there!
