A couple of years ago, I shot the wedding of Ford and Lauren Ellington, and when Ford's brother Tritt got engaged, his fiance (Madison), who is also friends with Lauren, contacted me about shooting their wedding. Of course I was thrilled to do it! I got to know Madison a little at Lauren's wedding, and I so enjoyed working with the Ellington family and their gorgeous venue, Eader House. The venue is owned by the other brother, Evan, and his wife Rachel. They've really done a fantastic job with it, and it was a pleasure to do a wedding there again.
They settled on an August date, and while it was super hot out, it was a gorgeous day! A hurricane had just come through and it stormed much of Friday, but by Saturday it was pretty much done. We had a cloudy, but dry day (unless you count the humidity).
When I first arrived, I got lots of detail shots.
How gorgeous is Eader House?! It's so picturesque.
Madison's dress was from My Best Friend Jenna. It is GORGEOUS!
Madison had all this set up for me in that box. Making my job so much easier!
That feather pin was from a family member's wedding. Such a cute touch!
These hangers for the bridesmaids were such a sweet gift from Madison.
Tritt's mom and grandmother did an excellent job with the florals around Eader House!
Instead of a traditional cake, Madison wanted these delicious donuts from Gibson Donuts! I may have eaten one...or more.
Matron of Honor, Lauren, did Madison's hair and WOWWWWW. She just does it for fun, but dang she's talented! After hair, Madison's mom had some sweet gifts for her daughter on her wedding day.
The girls spent some time getting their makeup done. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with these ladies. They're all quite a bit younger than me and so down to earth and fun. Shooting weddings keeps me young! HA!
The girls were ready for portraits, so we headed out for some on the balcony and then around the Eader House property.
I am OBSESSED with these! They feel so editorial, and I have a soft spot for azaleas.
After we got photos with the girls, they all headed back upstairs and the guys arrived for photos.
The boutonnieres all had lures on them. Such a neat touch! Treasure Chest did those along with the bouquets.
Had to get a photo of Tritt on the cool vintage couch! I know Madison will get a kick out of that photo. ha
The girls were tired from a long day of getting glammed up, so they requested some Red Bull. Once they got fueled, we were ready for the ceremony!
Woo hoo!!
Not going to sugar coat it, our portrait time was rough. It was so hot and I felt so bad for Madison and Tritt out in the humidity trying to keep taking photos. They were absolute troopers though, and I'm so happy with what we were able to capture!
Finally enjoying those delicious donuts!
Still cracking up at this photo!
Had to get a few toasts in at the end of the night.
They wrapped up with a gorgeous sparkler sendoff! It was the perfect end to a perfect day. I am so happy they chose me to document it!
