Nathan & Anna got married a couple of weeks ago at the gorgeous New Southern Hotel in downtown Jackson. It was the perfect spot for their big day, especially since they'll be living downtown and enjoying the area in their first years of marriage. I was so excited to be involved in this wedding day!
I arrived and got some detail shots around the venue, including Anna's gorgeous dress from Rina's Bridal Boutique.

I spent some time photographing the girls getting ready before the guys arrived.
We did a first look with the bridesmaids, then with Nathan.
We took lots of portraits next. It was supposed to be raining all day, but luckily it held off and we got pictures outside!
The kids were cracking us up...they were NOT having any of this picture taking.
We got through all the family portraits just in time for guests to start coming in. It was great to have everything done before the ceremony! Now they could just enjoy the time with loved ones after the ceremony.
I definitely teared up while they took communion together. Anna's two brothers were singing (now I can't remember which song!) during this, and it was beautiful. It was worth climbing over people to get pictures of the moment...
They're married! Seems like just yesterday Nathan was fretting over asking out a friend because he didn't want to mess up their friendship. And now they're friends and partners for life!
We slipped back downstairs to get pictures with their pastor and his family, and I got a couple of cute shots of them in front of this beautiful arch (arbor? I dunno what it's called).
The rest of the evening was just a lot of fun dancing!
Some of our office crew (current and former) with the Nathan and Anna.
Nathan has a switch that is activated by dance music at weddings apparently. He goes from this composed, well-mannered dude to a CRAZY DANCING NUT! It's honestly kind of awesome. His brothers are the same way, so it must be a Handley thing.
This was something special...I don't know what the song was, but they were having a blast!
I got a series of awesome shots of Anna Marie. She had her own little dance party going by the DJ booth.
At the end of the night, they had a sparkler exit and headed off to enjoy their honeymoon in the PNW.
Thank you guys so much for trusting me to document this day for you! It was an honor.
