Dustin & Angie's Backyard Rustic Summer Wedding in Tennessee

Dustin & Angie's sweet, country wedding is one of my favorites to date, for many reasons. Reason number one is that both Angie and Dustin were just a delight to be around from the time I arrived to the time I left. They were so down-to-earth and fun that I forgot I was even working! They got married at Dustin's family home in a small Tennessee town, which was a perfect setting for them. It was relaxed and had naturally pretty scenery. I loved all the little details that they set up, especially the things that were sentimental to them. I'm just going to quit rambling and let you enjoy the photos now :) Hopefully this gives you a feel for what a great day it was!

Best. First. Look. Ever. They were GIDDY and so excited to see each other. It was the sweetest thing ever.

I tried doing the off-camera flash during the sparkler exit. I can't decide if I like it or not. What do you guys think?

I definitely like it better than trying to use the ambient light from the sparklers, because often that is just not sufficient to get a sharp image. I think maybe a video light (a light that doesn't flash) would be ideal, and my assistant could follow the couple with the light. I'll have plenty more weddings to perfect this! I'm so blessed to already have several weddings booked for next year, and 5 more for 2014. Hooray!
