This cute little local cupcakery has been open for a while now, but I hadn't gotten around to trying it yet. I saw on FB that they were donating 10% of their sales the other day to a scholarship fund here in town, so I thought it was the perfect time to try out a HaliHannigan's cupcake. I walked in behind a woman ordering 2 dozen cupcakes, so that gave me plenty of time to carefully choose what flavor I wanted. I finally landed on Strawberry Pucker, but I'm going to have to go back soon for Turtle Cheesecake (sorry to make your mouths water).
They put the cupcake in an adorable little box, and I headed back to the office, barely able to restrain myself from eating it in the car. What sets these cupcakes apart is mainly that they are expertly made. Not only did it taste amazing, it LOOKED amazing! The strawberry cake was incredible and the lemon icing was equally tasty. It even had some lemon jelly in the middle. DELICIOUS!

I'll be posting pictures from the Braves game that I went to on Wednesday. Hopefully the post will come early next week, so get excited. The 2-day trip with Rhett was full of disasters (like a torrential downpour at game-time) but we still had a great time together. I guess that's when you know it's meant to be.

You could always consider Rhett as a disater. haha. Glad the two of you got to go. Hope you had fun and I will be waiting for the pics and the blog about the trip.
This looks most yummy!
Sort of obsessed with the word "cupcakery" -- it puts an instant smile on my face!
One of my all time dreams is to own a cupcake shop. This one looks amazing!!

what a great cupcake store and love that they give back to the community too! more places need to do that as it is a nice incentive to go to that store plus who doesn't love a good cupcake!
