Samantha & Ryan - Tanglewood House, Clarksville Tennessee Wedding

Last weekend was Sam and Ryan's beautiful wedding at the Tanglewood House in Clarksville, Tennessee. I met Sam through work, and I was so glad she chose me to document her wedding! She's super laid back, and I knew it would be an enjoyable day. This was my first time shooting in Clarksville, so I was excited to shoot somewhere new.

I arrived around 2, and started out shooting some photos of the guys.

I had a great time with them! They were pretty cooperative, which makes my job a little easier. After this, the girls arrived, so I went upstairs to get some photos of them.

Isn't Samantha's dress so gorgeous?! It's so classic. I rarely see dresses with sleeves, and I absolutely love them. I think it's hard for some people to pull off, but it's PERFECT for Sam. She looked so elegant!

After photos, the girls hung out in the cabin that was behind the ceremony site. This is where everyone would walk out from when the ceremony started. I took advantage of this downtime and photographed some of the reception decor.

Tanglewood House took care of the catering and I believe the reception set up as well. I'm not sure if they did the florals or not, but I didn't see a florist, so I assume they did. They were also coordinating the day! They did an amazing job putting everything together, and they had their system down to a science. I never felt like they were bossy though. They let me do my thing and communicated really well with me. It was a perfect balance! They also gave me a walkie-talkie for the day. I know that shouldn't be as exciting to me as it was...but I can't help it!

That beautiful cake was by The Cake Artist. Ryan is a Red Wings fan, so his cake was decorated to reflect that.

Pretty soon it was time for the ceremony to begin!

It was a lovely ceremony, and I loved the bubbles as they were coming back down the aisle. So fun!

After the ceremony we did all the family photos pretty quickly. It was a smallish wedding, and thankfully all the family was there when we needed them, so we didn't have to chase folks down. That makes things move so much faster! I love it.

We took pictures of Sam & Ryan for a few minutes after family photos.

After some portraits, we headed inside for the reception! I know Samantha was ready to just relax and enjoy time with her friends and family. She'd been going non-stop all day!

Samantha and her dad danced to "Tiny Dancer." It was so adorable, and everyone sang along with the chorus. Such a fun moment!

The DJ, Epic Music Services, made Ryan do a "sexy dance" before he could take off Sam's garter. It was pretty funny!

At the end of the night, they left with a sparkler send-off. It was a perfect day!

Thanks again, you two, for choosing me to photograph this special day. See you around the office, Sam!
