Kierstyn & Chris met in high school, and a couple of weekends ago, I got to document their lovely wedding day. I love a good high school sweetheart couple! I even got to do some of their engagement photos at their high school in Millington, and it was super special.
When I arrived at the Barn at Snider Farms, I started with some detail shots.
Kierstyn wore her mother's wedding gown. She had the sleeves removed, but other than that it wasn't changed very much. She looked stunning in it!
The cake was gorgeous!
Soon Kierstyn's hair and makeup artist, Brittany Mayall arrived, so I started photographing her getting ready.
We stepped outside and got some photos of the girls in their getting ready clothes.
When they came back in, Kierstyn had gifts for each bridesmaid. They were necklaces themed to a different personality trait like adventurous, beautiful, etc. They were so personal and sweet!
After the gifts, everyone got in their dresses, and Kierstyn did a reveal for the bridesmaids and then her mother.
So sweet! Her mom hadn't seen her in the dress yet, so this was really special.
Once everyone was ready we took a few pictures before time for the ceremony. Thankfully it wasn't raining yet, so we got to take these outside!
After these pictures, guests were arriving, and soon it was time for the ceremony to begin.
They're married! It was a short and sweet ceremony. Unfortunately it started to rain as soon as it was over, so we were limited to the pavilion area for the rest of the photos. We took some bridal party shots then had to get started with the reception.
After the introductions and eating, we headed back outside to take some pictures of Kierstyn and Chris.
We headed back inside for the dances, toasts and cake cutting, then on to dancing!
They had a blast dancing! After a while, they decided to go ahead and do their sparkler exit.
And with that we called it a night! Despite the rain, it was a wonderful day! Kierstyn and Chris got to celebrate their love with their friends and family, and that's the best kind of day.
