Pancakes for Dinner

A few weeks back, Rhett and I decided to have chocolate chip pancakes for dinner! I've been trying to use everything in my pantry, and I have two or three boxes of pancake mix. I also have a TON of chocolate chips from various baking endeavors. The pancakes ended up quite yummy! I have this wonderful griddle that has little animal faces on it, so that made them taste even better.

I really wanted to eat the monkey pancake, and Rhett really wanted the hippo, so I made sure to not mess those up!

That's syrup...not honey. A syrup bottle in the shape of a bear? How could I not buy that?

I know this isn't any great recipe or awesome experience, but it's these kind of things that I want to remember forever. Cooking with Rhett is one of my favorite things for us to do together, especially when it's something silly like this. I guess I just enjoy the simple things :)

Those look so cute. I have to do that every now and then - try to use what I have because I accumulate so much, haha!
